    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Jennings F. Carter was inducted into the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame in 1993 for pioneering aerial crop dusting in south Alabama and preserving many rare airplanes for future generations to fly. After WWII when airplanes were being scrapped regardless of their importance JFC purchased and converted many to crop dusters to earn their deep. Careful conversion and preventive preserving maintenance has allowed restorers in recent years to again have them flying as standard aircraft. A Fairy Swordfish, now flying in England, 4E Stearman in Canada, numerous Stearman Kadets, Fleet 2, Byrd CK, St wing Wacos, Stinsons, Howards, Biplane Vultee BT 13, Biplane N. American SN, were all some, and more, from crop dusters to original. Crop duster aircraft and their pilots have earned a place in aviation history.
