    He likely got his interest from his older brother (Pilot in WWII & Korea). Jerry graduated class of 52-H Big Spring, TX (flew T-7, T-28, T-330, Assigned to gunnery training at Nellis (flew F-80A, F-80C, F-86E). Assigned to 335 FIS at K-14 (Kimpo) Korea April 1953. Flew F-86G (plane named after me ”Miss Anne”), also assigned as Awards and Decorations Officer, wrote up commendations/Awards for many combat pilots, including Ralph Parr and Vermont Garrison (The “Silver Fox”). We were married April 19, 1954 after he returned from Korea. We were stationed at Alexandria, LA . His Sqdn, 613rd FBS, rotated TDY to France for six months. He was discharged Dec. 1955.
