    A licensed pilot since 1958, Jerry Cosley has experience in a wide variety of aircraft from Stearman bi-planes to Convair 880s. Now retired, during his 25-year career with Trans World Airlines Jerry also headed the 1976 employee recovery and airworthy restoration of Northrop Alpha NC11Y, the 193 0s TWA passenger/mail plane featured in the NASM Hall of Transportation. He later served as a member of former astronaut Frank Borman's senior management team at Eastern Air Lines. In his 1988 autobiography, "Countdown," Borman said Cosley was "the most skilled" (communicator) he ever met(p-410). Cosley is a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and his most recent personal aircraft, the Stolp Starlet prototype N2300, is on display at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
