    Barnstormer, stunt pilot, and airport manager, Upside-Down Jim Christman began his colorful flying career in New Mexico in 1923.
    His cross-country barnstorming in his OX-5 powered American Eagle brought him to Pennsylvania where he managed the Allentown-Bethlehem airport from 1932 to 1937. He took over management of the Muscatine Iowa Airport in the spring of 1937 and returned to stunt flying and a form of barnstorming.
    He crashed to his death putting on an air show at Cedar Rapids, Iowa in October 1937.
