John C. Giehtbrock began his career in aviation in the Navy. He joined in 1964 and served his country during the Viet Nam era. After his discharge he worked for the Navy as a mechanic at Dulles Airport. He continued to work in the aviation industry for the rest of his life culminating in a 25 tenure with American Airlines. He was a much respected and admired employee. He died suddenly in August 2014. He is missed as a husband, father, grandfather and brother. God speed John.
