John Charles Riedel was an aviator in the U.S. Air Force who flew as an Electronic Warfare Officer aboard the RC-135 Rivet Joint aircraft. He was commissioned in May 1997, separated in August 2004, and was honorably discharged soon thereafter. The attached picture is that of his father, Richard Allen Riedel, pinning-on his wings during a Winging ceremony at Pensacola Naval Air Station in October 1998.
