FIFTEENTH AIR FORCE in MTO 1943-1945 with the 459th Bomb Group/756th Bomb Squadron in Italy. Attended service schools in Lincoln, NE, Chanute Field, IL, Davis-Monthan Field, AZ, Westover Field, MA and then overseas to Italy during WWII. Won squadron emblem contest depicting "Goofy" dropping a bomb. Awards were Distinguished Unit Citation and ETO ribbon with nine battle stars. Also was with 2nd. Bomb Group, Army of Occupation. Retired U.S.A.F. Reserve. Married with four children.
