Born December 1, 1919 (still living -- 81 years old).
John has always been interested in aviation since he was 12 years old. Used to walk to College Park Airport in College Park, Maryland to watch the planes take off and land.
After graduation from high school he worked for Glenn L. Martin outside of Baltimore, Maryland. Then in 1954 he worked for Boeing Aircraft Co., in Seattle, Washington, as a mechanic, until retiring in 1984.
