John G Hoffman is a veteran of the U. S. Navy and served his country proudly and honorably during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Although he has never been a pilot , his love of aviation runs deep and long. Charles has always been one of his heroes, he has read numerous books and articles on this aviation pioneer. During WWII, one of his proudest and most memorable duties was serving as a radioman on a u. S. Navy Blimp. His love of aviation has been passed on to one son who is a retired Army helicopter pilot, another son who is a private Pilot, and a grandson who is training to be a commercial pilot. John G.
