1918-1979
John Henry Goolsby served in WWII as an aircraft mechanic in the USAAC, 7th Air Force in the Hawaiian Islands. He was discharged as a sergeant and went to work with Eastern Airlines. He retired as foreman of the plating shop after 30 years. He was self trained and was instrumental in developing platting techniques of the jet engines and aircraft components.
