?»?John Sherrer (1/21/1943 - 5/28/2010) graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. (65) and M.S. (68) in Aerospace Engineering.
He then worked for Bell Helicopter Textron for 40 years. During this time he served as Project Engineer on many different projects, Chief of Military Survivability, Director of Research and Development, and finally as Chief Engineer on the Presidential Helicopter Program.
John was a strong and knowledgeable leader in the research and development of helicopters.
