    A lifelong airplane enthusiast and dedicated supporter of air museums John Jeffrey “Jeff” Brausch earned his private pilot license in 1960 at the age of 17 and subsequently added instrument, multi-engine and glider ratings. He has accumulated over 20,000 accident-free hours and currently flies between 400 and 500 hours per hear. In connection with his investment banking business he owns and pilots a Piper Cheyenne IIXL. Jeff also owns and flies a 1943 Howard DGA-15P, a 1941 Stinson 10-A, a 1942 Boeing Stearman and a 1953 Cessna 180. He holds a number of national and world speed records , including 15 of which were accomplished over the North Atlantic and Artic Circle . He is a member of the Flight Safety Foundation, the National Aeronautic Association, the National Business Aviation Association, the Aircraft Owners’ and Pilots’ and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
