    A Cadet, in the USAAF 1941-1942, Montgomery Ala. Captain, USAAF. Served in China, Burma, India theaters from Dec. 1942 to June. 1944. Flew 164 combat missions. Senior pilot, on Army "Fire Ball" airline, 1944 to 1946 flying VIP's to world wide bases. He was awarded the following citations: Bronze star, Four Air Medals and Three Distinguished Flying Crosses.

    Commercial airline pilot, Capital Airlines, 1946

    He authored "Through the Eyes of a Tiger". A saga of men and planes in the battle for China and Burma during World War Two.

    Corporate Officer, Smith Kline & French Labs 1946-1980. He was Chief Operating officer in charge of pharmaceuticals and Chairman of Board Franklin Town Corp during the 70's.

    He married Alice Wettstine in 1946. They have three children, Thomas Hunter Nevin, Cathy Anne Fay, and Elizabeth Hill Heywood; and nine grand children. He retired in 1980 and lives in Stuart, Fl.

    He is a 33rd degree mason.
