Honored by:
I was a RADAR officer in WWII in the USAAF as a 1st Lt. After the war until 1978, I was employed by the USAF in research in Cambridge and Bedford, MA in V-2 and Aerobee missile instrumentation. I also did radar improvement work -- Radio Astronomy microwave work. The longest time was spent in solar radio astronomy equipment design and construction leading to a worldwide network of 4 stations around the world still operating – staffed by USAF men to supply data info.
