Jack was a graduate of Daniel Webster College, Nashua, New Hampshire, class of 1981. He started his career as an Air Traffic Controller at the Boston Center and became a Supervisor at the age of 29.
Jack was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and Quiet Birdmen .He held an Instructor's rating and was First Place Winner of the Sportsman Category Aerobatics Competition at the New England Aerobatics Association Competition, May 1994 at Orange, Ma.
Jack married Elizabeth Carlson in April 1982. They resided in Brookline, New Hampshire with their son, Kevin.
