I remember as a young boy watching flights of WWII fighters go by, thinking one day maybe I could fly one of them. I never did. But over the years, I did get to fly in all sorts of planes. From biplanes to giant jet liners, and each one providing some sense of thrill or satisfaction. Even just to watch them somehow frees the mind, allows it to soar to places far away, to worlds even further.
