Honored by:

John joined the Navy at age 17 and served honorably for eight years prior to the start of World War II. He travelled the world serving as a mechanist and learning the complexities of the early refrigeration technology. During his enlistment a lifelong interest in aviation and subsequently the Space Program was begun. He continued his interest until the age of 90 when he left us for his final flight to another realm. We all miss him.
