I was always interested in air travel since Charles Lindbergh flew across the ocean in May 1927. I followed the various air forces in World War II. After the war I noticed Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier, and John Glenn flew in space. I also was once a member of the American Security Council which is located in Virginia.
