Mr. Murden enlisted in the Air Force in June of 1952. He had basic training at Sampson Air Force Base in Geneva, NY, then to Francis E Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the to Langley then to Keflavik AFB in Iceland; then back to Langley. He worked in telecommunications. He described his service as “Just for the record, I place high value on my military service”. He went on to become a successful banker and helped numerous defense contractors secure loans to provide for the security of our nation.
