Joseph A. Connor, Jr. (1929-1997). 1st Lt. USAF 1939-1960. Pearl Harbor survivor. Army Air Corps and Air Force Pilot. Military pilot career spanned Pacific and European Theatres including Africa, Indochina and South America. Flew 30 missions including D-Day with 8th Air Force, 392nd Bomb Group, 579th Squadron. Awarded Distinguished Flying Cross and five Air Medals.
Inspiring Father to three children and four grandchildren, whose service and sacrifice assured our freedom.
