Joseph D. Sefcik helped protect our country during the Cold War in the US Navy Reserves for over thirty years from 1955 to 1987. He served as a navigator and ordinance man on such historical aircraft as the P2V Neptune and P-3 Orion. His belief in his duty to his country and his sacrifices to help keep us free make him stand out as an aviation warrior. His service motivated me to join the US Air Force and I hope that I can follow his lead and pass this spirit on to my children.
