Mr. J.A. Garland has been interested in aviation all of his life. He first soloed on his 16th birthday. He was a member of the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954 reaching the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He is a member of the AOPA, the Naples Pilot’s Association, the Quiet Birdmen of America, and is a founding member of the Naples, FL chapter of the EAA. He participates in the Young Eagles program and is a Lifetime member of the Staggerwing Association.
