Joe was a B-25 pilot in SW Pacific early in WWII. After a year he was killed near New Guinea on August 7, 1943. As F.D.R. said by his life and death he humbled the undertakings of most men.
Joe was my younger brother. He was one of 17 of his Lexington, Mass. Classmates to die in WWII.
