Joe was raised in Bloomfield NJ. He graduated from Monmouth University with a BS in Business Administration. He also had an MBA from Seton Hall University and MA in Systems Analysis from Capitol College.

Even as a small boy, Joe was fascinated by airplanes. After college, Joe received his Private Pilot’s License. He enjoyed flying a Cessna 150.

Joe moved to the Washington DC area in 1984. He worked for some defense contractors.

Joe and his wife Betsy enjoyed traveling.

Upon retiring, Joe achieved his personal goal of becoming a docent at the Udar-Hazy Center.
