    Born on March 16, 1916, Joseph had a life long love affair with aviation. Earning his wings on March 20, 1934, he soloed in a Lincoln PT. Between 1934 and 1939, Joseph and his two buddies Peter B. Provenzano and Warren Peterson owned and flew Lincoln PT NC185N, Eaglerock NC3660, Fleet NC770N, Parks NC90H, Commandaire NC939E and a Piper Cub NC16698. The airplanes were maintained with money earned giving rides on weekends and at country fairs. In 1939 Joseph was hired by Braniff Airways as an apprentice airplane mechanic and was issued his A&E Ticket #101106 in Sept. 1941. He worked for Braniff 41 years and died on Deb 16, 1980.
