After receiving a Mechanical Engineering degree, Joe entered the aerospace field in 1974. As an Engineer he was involved in the design and manufacture of hardware for aerospace applications. While employed for companies such as Bendix, Allied Signal Aerospace and Honeywell Aerospace, his design and manufacturing efforts resulted in new and modified hardware and test methods for the F-15, B1-B, AH-64, A-4, Hubble, 'X' type spacecraft and various other aerospace projects.

Joe enjoyed his career and is proud of his accomplishments and is now retired after 35 years of aerospace service.
