    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Judi Beckett

Since 1987 Julian has strived to ensure that history and sacrifices of the Royal Air Force, Commonwealth Air Forces and the United States Army Air Force at the former RAF Watton, Norfolk, UK (USAAF designation Station AAF-505, sometimes AAF-376) are recorded for posterity and never forgotten. In this time he has organised, with others, Veteran's Re-unions, co-founded a museum at the station (now closed) and maintains a website dedicated to the sacrifice of the brave men and women at RAF Watton in service to their respective countries during, and in the years after, World War Two. He also works now to encourage young people to engage with science, technology and space through the medium of Amateur Radio.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
