Honored by:
Graduated USAF flight school 15 December 1951, class 51-H. Served in Korea April-November 1952 in the 335th Squadron, 4th Fighter Wing. Credited with 2 destroyed and one damaged MiG during tour. Completed USAF tour as instructor in the Fighter Weapons School at Nellis AFB, NV in July 1955.
Flew as a commercial airline pilot with Trans World Airlines (TWA) from April 1956 until retirement in May 1990.
