Mr. Howard Haglund Jr.

Howard H. Haglund was a mechanical engineering graduate from New York University, who first went to work at Sperry Gyroscope. After guidance and control work at Sperry, he went to a small firm Gyromechanisms, then his own company, Kama & Vega. He then went to Pacific Scientific as Director of Engineering. He joined the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 1960 doing guidance and control. He was a project manager on the Surveyor III to IV. Previously, he was deputy. He was always supported well by his wife during these busy schedules. They were a team. He was my Dad and she was my Mom.
