Kathryn Lynette Boyd (born Jan 9, 1921) served in the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) of World War II from November 1943 to December 1944. She was one of 1104 women who graduated from an experimental program to train women pilots under the command of Jacqueline Cochran. Their efforts freed American male pilots for battle through tasks such as ferrying aircraft, towing targets, and providing instrument instruction. These women served as pioneers to help open the door to women pilots in the service.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
