    Born in Anderson, Indiana, August 21, 1923. He flew with the Flying Tigers for Claire Chennault with the Air Transport Command. Taking supplies over the Hump (the Himalayan Mountains) in a C-47 in which he was a navigator. He talked about being in Kunming China.

    Then he went to work at Comsat (Communications Satellite Corporation) as an engineer. Traveled all over the world, putting up satellites. Worked at Comsat for 17 years, from 1967 through 1984. Comsat was later acquired by Lockheed Martin.

    Mr. Remington died December 27, 2015, at the age of 92, after a lengthy battle with dementia.
