    Kenneth Peterson spent nearly forty years in aviation. He is a retired Air Force Brigadier General, Delta Air Lines Captain, and Aviation Consultant. Among his 36 military decorations he holds the Legion of Merit, two Distinguished Flying Crosses, eleven Air Medals, the Purple Heart and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Valor. He graduated as Top Gun and flew 212 combat missions in the F-100, graduated first in his class in the F-101, earned Master of Air Defense in the F-106, and commanded an F-15 Air Superiority Wing. He is type rated by the FAA in the B-737, DC-9, MD-88, and CE-500 and was the owner/operator for many years of an LA-4 amphibious aircraft. Mr. Peterson has testified as an expert witness in litigation of aviation matters. He is a certified Aviation Merit Badge counselor for the Boy Scouts of America.
