    Kevin Lynch is a former Blackhawk pilot for both the U.S. Army and Texas Army National Guard. He served in the Army from 1987-1992, reaching the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2. He was attached to the 18th Airborne Company during the Gulf War, where he flew 41 combat missions as pilot-in-command of the Blackhawk. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Distinguished Flying Cross and two Air Medals for his service during the war. Kevin joined the Texas Army National Guard in 1994 and served until 1997. He was rated as a maintenance test pilot and flight instructor on the Blackhawk.
