    Mr. de Quay has been a substantial contributor to America’s space program since the middle of the 1980’s and into the first half of the 21st Century. His major contributions and involvement have been in the area of large Earth-to-orbit propulsion systems ground testing. As an employee of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, he has been a key individual in the design of high fidelity test facilities which have proven to be an essential part of the successful development and flight certification of low cost, innovative, safe, highly reliable, and high performance space propulsion systems. Mr. de Quay also maintains an active interest in all areas of aerospace, especially with regards to expanding knowledge and improving the everyday lives of humankind. His work continues to be a significant element in enabling and expanding humanity’s routine access to and permanent presence in space.
