    Maj. Johnson graduated from Admiral Farragut Academy in ’49 and the Naval Academy in ’53. He was commissioned into the USAF upon graduation and received his wings at Williams AFB in ’54. Numerous assignments in ADC, ATC, TAC, and as a foreign air force advisor took him from Okinawa to Morocco and many points in between. Fortunate to fly high performance aircraft his whole career, Ma. Johnson retired at Williams AFB in ’75. In civilian aviation, Maj. Johnson instructed in Pacific Southwest Airlines flight training center. Mainly instructing pilots for Lufthansa Airlines. He was also employed by Motorola as an air ground coordinator and at Singer/Link (in Saudi Arabia as a simulator instructor fin F-5 aircraft. His man decorations and awards include tow DFCs, 18 Air Medals, seven Vietnam Campaigns. Foreign awards; Wings from Royal Thai and Moroccan Air Forces., Badge of Honor-Taiwan, Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm.
