Corporate pilot, 1960 — 1988, for Westinghouse, Consolidation Coal, and Consolidated Natural Gas. Positions included Chief Pilot and Manager, Flight Operations. Total of 10,739 hours flown in equipment including F-27, Learstar, Twin Beech, Twin Bonanza, King Air 90, DH-125, Merlin III, Citation II, Sabreliner 265, and Challenger 601. A member of Fraternal Order of Quiet Birdmen. Lawrence Heim was known by colleagues as a pilot's pilot.
