Distinguished Graduate, Naval Aviation Indoctrination Program, 1990. USCG Airstation McClellan AFB, CA, 1991-1995. USCG Airstation Barbers Point, HI, 1995-1997. United Airlines, 1997-present. Coast Guard C-130 Search and Rescue pilot. United Airlines Pilot-Instructor, Boeing 737-200. Awarded Boeing 727 Captain, United Airlines, May, 2000. Flew the last precision radar approach into Eareckson AFS, Shemya Alaska, August 2, 1994, after search and rescue operations off the coast of Nizki Island, in which 2 Russian and 2 American scientists were saved. Approach radar was reassembled after base closing by techs in order to recover the acft in the early morning, during IFR wx at approach minimums. Awarded Coast Guard Achievement Medal.
