From 1944 to 1965 he served the Navy with distinction, logging 1,300 hours on 757 flights in TBM, F6F, FG1D, PBY, R5D, FJ3, S2F, and A4D.
He graduated from Wesleyan University and advanced in Physics from Hofstra and Stony Brook.
His business career as Contract Manager for construction with Parsons Brinckerhoff on National Petroleum Reserves; Light rail transit in Pittsburgh, PA, San Jose, and Santa Clara, CA. He also worked on National Stars Wars project and retired in 1990.
