    Commissioned as an Ensign, USNR in 1956 and designated Naval Aviator # V-14195 on 28 July 1956. Accumulated 4132 flight hours, 378 arrested carrier landings. Flew the following aircraft: PA-12, Ercoupe, Cessna 150 and 172, Tripacer, SNB, SNJ, T-28, T-33,T-34, T-38, C-1A, S2, T-39, WF-2, B-26 (Cornell Lab Variable Stability), AD-5/6, P-3, F9F8T, HU16C, AJ-2, H-46, HSS-1, OV-10, FJ4B, F6A, A-4, C-131F, E2A/C. Graduated from the U. S. Navy Test Pilot School, Class 33 and designated an Engineering Test Pilot. Conducted Navy Preliminary Evaluation and Board of Inspection Trials of the Carrier Airborne Early Warning weapon systems of the W2F(E2A) and the E2C airplanes. Deployed with the E2A weapon system to Southeast Asia (Vietnam 1966) and was awarded 3 Air Medals. Licensed commercial pilot single engine multi-engine land, instrument rated. BS in Engineering Science U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, 1969. Aeronautical Engineering Contractor providing support for F-14 airplane for the NAVAIR ENGINEERING SUPPORT OFFICE (NESO) resolving problems causing excessive maintenance. Program manager for Raytheon Shipboard Electronic Air Defense systems, Logistics project manager for Northrop Corporation supporting the B-2 program.
