    Frank Marvin attended USMA and earned his commission as 2nt Lt. and wings in 1945.
    He flew several different fighter and bomber aircraft, surviving a serious P-47 accident in 1948.
    He served on the faculty of both USMA and USAFA as a professor of engineering.
    He worked in engineering and aircraft development at Wright-Patterson AFB and AEDC, attended the Air War College, and retired in 1969.
    Eighteen year second career as engineering professor at Virginia Tech.
