Leigh T O’Connor: born Tantanoola, South Australia, 1941. Founded O’Connor Air Service in February 1973. In 2003 O’Connor Airlines became Australia’s oldest regional airline, and second oldest airline behind Qantas Airways.
Leigh has amassed over 25,000 flying hours during his career in many types.
Leigh has spent his flying life passing on his love of flying to others and there are hundreds of pilots who started their careers flying with Leigh. Leigh is married to Sally, herself a licensed Commercial Pilot.
