    Leonard (Lenny) Ohlsson Pilot License Number 2039418
    Lenny was born in Queens, New York and attended PS 45 just a short distance from Idyllwild Airport, now New York's Kennedy Airport.
    1956 - 1959 enlisted in the US Army.
    1964 - 1986 employed as a Police Officer for Suffolk County, New York.
    While on the Police Dept. he joined the Suffolk County Police Dept.’s flying club where he obtained his privates pilots license. He went on to his multi, instrument, ATP, Glider, Rotorcraft-Helicopter and single engine seaplane. Also his instructors for single engine, multi engine, instrument and glider without limitations.
    Len did a lot of instruction flying and also a lot of charter work in the northeast area operating many types of single and multi-engine aircraft. Total time in 1986 amounted to about 13,000 hours.
    When retired from the police dept. he moved from New York to Daytona Beach, FL where he purchased a Real Estate office in the foremost aviation community Spruce Creek Fly-In.
    At the time of this writing Len is flying a 1941 WACO UPF-7 and is looking for a WWI (replica) fighter to buy and fly.
    Leonard Ohlsson is a member of the Quiet Birdmen.
