My mother never imagined that back in ’46 a birthday present of a balsa and tissue model airplane would spark such an interest in aviation. Opportunities to become a pilot or studying aeronautical engineering here in Mexico were not possible and I was also unable to study abroad. I am an architect and a MBA. My library of aviation oriented publications has continuously outgrown the spaces allotted to it, it parallels aviation – always expanding. May there always be air beneath our wings.
