    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

My first flight was at age 7 on Piedmont Airlines from Winston Salem to Greensboro. I decided on that day I wanted to be a stewardess. My mother's uncle, Ed Best, was working his way up the ladder at Piedmont. He told me when I turned 20 he would give me a job. He kept his promise and I began Flight Attendant training 11/27/78, 6 weeks after I turned 20. I was first based in DCA, then ATL, MIA, BWI, CLT, LAX, CLT, and ended flying international in PHL on 12/1/05. I also served as MEC Secretary Treasurer and AFA International Finance Committee Chair. I represented AFA in our merger with the Communication Workers of America. I grew up at Piedmont and will never forget the lifelong friendships made there and at US Airways.
