The flight experience inspired him to advance his aviation aspirations and become a highly skilled flight instructor and pilot. He broadened his interest toward modernization of aviation and space exploration and endearingly shared his knowledge and skills with upcoming generations and enthusiasts. His extraordinary influence inspired his wife, Constance Jeanette Picard I, to actively engage in flight exploration, exemplified by her involvement in support of combat missions during WWII, and furthering her interests through other flight endeavors. Their passion for flight and space exploration inspired their daughter, Constance Jeanette Picard II, who aspired to be an astronaut.
