Lois was born in Saugus, MA in 1923 (nee Lois Moulton Chase). Joined the US Marine Corps in 1944 and served until the end of the war. Ranking Lance Corporal, she was an aircraft mechanic/technician. A mother of two girls and five boys, she died of lung cancer in 1990.
