Lori was born in 1971 to James and Dorothy O'Donnell in Uniontown, PA. From a very young age, she dreamed of soaring high above the earth. For her fourteenth birthday, her parents gave her a flight in a Cessna 150. That flight became the first of many. She soloed an airplane before she could even drive a car. With every license she acquired her love affair with aviation grew stronger.

In 1993, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Technology from Kent State University. Thus began a beloved career in the field of aviation.
