    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Lou loved everything about aviation. He was one of the fortunate ones whose profession was his passion. Lou loved to fly and flying was his life. From recreational pleasure flying to teaching to aerobatic competitions to racing at the National Championship Air Races in Reno, Lou did it all and loved every minute of it.

Lou spent part of his aviation career not in a cockpit, but behind a desk as the director of a flight school. His terrific enthusiasm for flying was infectious and he happily shared it with everyone around him. Both his instructors and his students reaped the benefits of having Lou as a mentor and aviation guru.

We lost Lou in 2005, he left us long before his time. He will be remembered for being a dynamic aviator, but his legacy will be the positive impact he had on everyone who knew him and shared his love of flying.
