Born on September 22nd, 1929 in Warren, Ohio. Enlisted in the Army Air Corps in November 1945 at the age of 16. Served as a Radio Operator, Air Policeman and Aircraft Mechanic at several installations stateside, Japan and South Korea through 1953. Entered the Aviation Cadet Program in the USAF and earned his wings and Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in July 1955. Severed as a Fighter Pilot, Instructor Pilot and as an Operations Officer at Squadron, Group and Numbered Air Force level until retiring May 31st 1967.
