USAAF – 8th Air Force, was a pilot who flew B-17 Bomber, 381st Bomb Group stationed in Ridgewell, England 1943 – 1945. Flew 35 missions over Germany. Was the lead plane on many missions. Also Colonel in Confederate Air Force. Received five Oak Leaf Clusters, etc.
